Why do we do what we do?
We believe every child deserves the very best possible education. Reignite Learning was created after seeing too many children not receiving the support and education they deserve. We recognise that not every child fits within the current education system, which is why we believe education should be built around the child: not the child around the system.
At Reignite Learning, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, understood and capable of success. We provide nurturing, tailored support for children aged 4-13 who may be struggling within mainstream education, helping them rebuild confidence, reconnect with learning and successfully reintegrate into school.
Our mission is to equip children with the tools, confidence and support they need to rediscover a sense of belonging, purpose and achievement, enabling them to thrive both in education and within their wider community.
Who we are
Daniel Forward - Founder and Company Director
I am the founder and Director of Reignite Learning, bringing 20 years of experience in primary education, leadership, safeguarding and inclusion.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a range of schools serving very different communities, from highly disadvantaged areas to schools achieving some of the strongest outcomes in the country. During this time, I have held leadership positions including Assistant Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and, most recently, Headteacher.
My passion has always been helping children overcome barriers to learning. While academic achievement is important, I believe the strongest outcomes come when children feel safe, understood, valued and successful. This belief has shaped my approach throughout my career and is the foundation of Reignite Learning.
I have extensive experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND), including those with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, attendance challenges and those at risk of exclusion. Working closely with schools, families and external agencies has given me a deep understanding of the importance of creating personalised support that meets the needs of each individual child.
Alongside my leadership experience, I have led whole-school improvement projects that have transformed outcomes for children, including curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment, inclusion and safeguarding. These experiences have taught me that lasting success comes from building strong relationships, setting high expectations and never giving up on a child.
Reignite Learning was created because I believe every child deserves an educational pathway that works for them. Not every child fits neatly into a traditional school model, but every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. Our role is to help children reconnect with learning, rebuild confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
