Why Local Matters
At Reignite Learning, we believe children should remain connected to their community. Our model allows us to deliver tailored programmes for individual children while working within their local school area. This approach supports stronger relationships, smoother reintegration and better outcomes for children and families.
Maintaining a Sense of Belonging
One of our primary aims is to support successful reintegration into school. When an alternative provision is located close to a child's school and community, they maintain a stronger connection to their peers, local area and school identity. This helps children and families see themselves as part of the school community and supports a smoother transition back into mainstream education.
More Learning, Less Travelling
Many children accessing alternative provision struggle with attendance and may be academically behind their peers. By reducing travel time, we can maximise the time available for learning, therapeutic support and personal development, ensuring every minute is used to help children make progress.
Familiarity Supports Success
Children thrive when they feel safe, secure and connected. Remaining close to familiar environments, routines and support networks can reduce anxiety and increase engagement in learning. By working within a child's local community, we help create the stability and confidence needed for children to re-engage with education and successfully reintegrate into school.
