Alternative Provision
At Reignite Learning, we offer a personalised alternative provision for young people aged 4 - 13 who are finding mainstream education overwhelming.
Based across sites in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, our goal is to support children to reignite their enjoyment of learning and help them fully integrate into school life.
Elective Home Education (EHE)
Whether you're looking for personalised one-to-one tuition, small group learning or engaging curriculum enrichment, Reignite Learning provides flexible, high-quality support for home-educated children. Every session is tailored to your child's interests, abilities and learning goals, helping them grow in confidence and develop a love of learning. Led by an experienced primary educator, our sessions are designed to inspire, challenge and nurture every child.
What is an alternative provision?
Alternative Provision (AP) is education arranged for children who, because of exclusion, illness or other circumstances, would otherwise not receive suitable education. It can also provide support for children who are temporarily suspended or who are directed to provision away from their school to improve their behaviour and engagement.
Reignite Learning offers a flexible approach to AP, providing both on-site and off-site provision. This means we can work alongside a child within their own school, providing targeted support while maintaining their connection to their classroom and teachers, or provide a dedicated learning environment away from school when a child needs greater space, a different approach or a fresh start. Our aim in both settings is the same: to reconnect children with learning, rebuild confidence and help them find a successful path forward.
